It will not open its doors this summer for the first time in 52 years of history.
The Pacha Group has announced in a statement that its club in Ibiza will be closed during this 2020 season as a result of the health crisis due to covid-19.
The decision has been seconded by the Group after the Government's announcement not to allow the opening of nightclubs and large nightlife venues in the Islands.
The CEO of the Pacha Group, Nick McCabe, has stated that "this is a painful and complicated decision that has been made following the guidelines of the public administration and the Balearic Government."
"It is certainly not the best news for the Island of Ibiza and for tourism," he added, assuring that the Group will follow the recommendations and guidelines of the administration in order to guarantee the safety and well-being of employees, suppliers and clients.
McCabe stressed that the "imminent" opening of other Group locations.
Lío y Destino Pacha Resort "allows us to continue with the illusion of offering in this 2020 season a safe and stimulating alternative of leisure and fun in equal parts." For its part, Lío and Destino Pacha Resort will be the assets of the Pacha Group that will open their doors on July 10 and 16 respectively.
